Participation
Our office participates in most major health plans including Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, AHC, Cigna, Humana, Health EOS, Medicar WEA, WPS, and all Worker's Compensation. We are also Aurora Direct and Columbia St. Mary's Physician Network providers and a member of many other smaller networks. Many of the above carriers have tiered plans so make sure to contact your insurance carrier to make sure we are a member of your specific plan. We are not an in-netowkr provider for United Health Care but do see many patients as out-of-network providers. Contact your carrier to understand your benefits if you choose your hand care with us.
Responsibility
Your health insurance is a contract between yourself and your carrier. As a courtesy, our office will submit claims to your carrier for services you recieve from us. If your carrier declines payment or provides only partial payment (such as is the case with deductibles and coinsurance), our office will send you a detailed statement outlining your financial responsibility. Our office staff strive to make the insurance side of your care as simple and accurate as possible. It is important for you, the patient or guarantor, to resolve any insurance related matters.
